Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is the most widely accepted accreditation and standard for automotive certification within the automotive industry in the United States. In June of this year, we received results of the ASE tests that our students took the previous month. We are proud to announce that our students passed 101 ASE Certification tests. Nearly 80% of the tests that were attempted in the automotive area were successfully passed. This accomplishment is a tribute to the success our students are having in the program, as well as a tribute to you and your centers for transferring well motivated young men and women to us.
Our success is due in part to the integration of the Toyota Technical Education Network (T-TEN) training standards in all eight specialized automotive areas. Along with our ongoing curriculum development, all of the UAW-LETC instructors continue to receive extensive training in improved delivery methods and techniques. For the student’s part, their buy-in to the training, as well as their dedication, provides a well organized career path leading to a successful end result--careers with Toyota and Lexus and/or many other Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) dealerships nationwide.
You may have other students who can benefit from the UAW-LETC Advanced Training Program.
